[Review] Moonlight Scandals by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Moonlight Scandals was everything I needed in the third and final book of the de Vincent series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. In this conclusion, we finally get to Devlin, the Devil himself, the oldest of the de Vincent brothers. After everything that's happened in Moonlight Sins and Moonlight Seduction, Devlin has some clean up to do if he is going to continue to protect the family. Of course, that protection wasn't going to be extended any further - that is, until Rosie pokes and prods her way into Devlin's life. As one of Nikki's closest friends, Rosie was introduced in Moonlight Seduction but we now get her story, both romantic and platonic, and we finally get to see past Devlin's steel exterior. Devlin was destined to be the darkest de Vincent brother, and Armentrout definitely delivers on this story. Throughout the amazing plot, we get secret after secret revealed as Devlin's past slowly comes to light. But as the hard exterior crumbles, will Rosie be able to stand by Devlin's side as the three brothers' story comes full circle?
As with any Jennifer L. Armentrout story, the plot flows over the pages and keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. The romance is sizzling, especially as Devlin learns to open up to Rosie. Armentrout did a wonderful job at tying up all the loose ends from the previous two books, loose ends you don't even know are loose ends until the end of Moonlight Scandals. All our favorite characters from the previous two books return, even some characters you didn't suspect would make another appearance. A hot romance with an undercurrent of who-dun-it, Moonlight Scandals was the perfect ending to the de Vincent series, and recommended for romance lovers who like a bit of mystery and spice.
