[Review] Receiver of Many by Rachel Alexander
Receiver of Many by Rachel Alexander is a fantastically written take on the Hades and Persephone story. Weaving their relationship together since the dawn of their existence, Alexander gives the reader Hades and Persephone's first meeting, first time, and first love. At its heart, Receiver of Many is a tale of two immortals, finally finding each other and finally finding themselves within their true place in the cosmos. Supporting characters, like Demeter, Thanatos, and Hecate, are all bursting with personality and have their own purpose, adding to both Hades and Persephone's story as well as the larger plot. The sex scenes are well done, graphic but not overly dark like in other Hades and Persephone stories. Overall, this was a well-written Hades and Persephone tale featuring a great plot and characters with depth. I can't wait to see how the story continues in the next book.
