[Review] Tempting the Best Man by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Tempting the Best Man was a short read, but it had everything all great friends-to-lovers romances need.
Madison and Chase have known each other forever, and Maddie has had feelings for Chase for as long as anyone can remember. But after Chase turned her away years ago, Maddie put aside her hopes for anything more between the two of them. But when a hotel mix-up happens at Maddie's brother's wedding, Maddie and Chase end up sharing more than just a room. But if Chase and Maddie want their happily-ever-after, they're going to have to learn from the past and open themselves to the possibility of a future together.
The first book in the Gamble Brothers series was a quick read for me; I sped through it in just a few hours. But Chase and Maddie bring all the same flair and passion that readers can always expect from J. Lynn/Jennifer L. Armentrout novels. The characters are always well done, the romance is always intense, and she always leaves the reader wanting more. I already have the next Gamble Brothers book in my queue and I can't wait to see how the next story plays out.
