[Review] A Secret in Onyx by Jessica Florence

Oh my goodness, what a page-turner!

This is one of those books that pulls you in; the more you read, the more you want to read. 

A Secret in Onyx begins in a post-apocalyptic, magic-less world. When Sapphira's traveling companion is captured, Sapphira must use the knowledge he left her with if she wants to survive. But she ends up in the fae realm, where she learns that everything she knew was wrong and her future includes much more than fighting to survive. Tasked with saving the fae and their princess, Sapphira will have to unravel mysteries and uncover secrets if she hopes to save her friends and the ones she loves. 

Part magical fantasy, part romance, and part hero's journey, A Secret in Onyx is an incredibly well-done tale that will keep you guessing and wondering what's happening until the very end. You will want to immediately pick up the next book in this trilogy; this series is available on Kindle Unlimited and is definitely worth the read.
