[ARC Review] Love Bites by Duckie Mack

The guys of Crow's Nest are back in another Love Bank Romance from Duckie Mack!

Jonah has made it pretty big as a member of Crow's Nest, but now he wants to pursue another passion: cooking in his own food truck. So in between tours, Jonah starts up his own food truck business, bass bEATS. But he may have stepped on a few toes in the process, namely Van - the owner of the Hog Heaven food truck. But when Van puts his hatred aside and comes to Jonah's rescue, they both realize there's a spark between them they both want to pursue. But before long, Jonah has to make a decision: choose his friends in the band, or start a new path for himself with the first true love he's ever known.

I loved the first two books in the Love Bank series, and Jonah and Van's story is no exception. There were a lot of fantastic elements in this story: enemies-to-lovers, tough discussions on following your passions, an adorable height difference, and my personal favorite: a demisexual main character. I loved seeing this representation, since I don't see a lot of demisexuality in romance books. I do wish, just like with Bo Next Door, that the representation came from someone who actually identified as such, but some demisexuality representation is good even if not necessarily authentic.

Overall, Love Bites carried great messages of following your passions and finding your person. Both Jonah and Van had to make some tough choices, but they did what was right for them and found their happily ever after in the process.

With cameos from all your favorite Love Bank characters, Love Bites was a fantastic addition to the series!
